Discover The Great Barrier Reef  
Hamilton Island is the best place from which to discover the incredible natural formation that is the Great Barrier Reef. Fantasea Cruises operates daily full-day trips to the largest permanent floating platform Reefworld where you can snorkel, scuba dive, take in the sights from the underwater viewing chamber or ride the semi-submersible submarine and skim over the reef surface. Alternativly, H2O Sportz operate half-day snorkel safari adventures where you'll discover the under water gardens bordering some of the neighbouring Whitsunday Islands. If travelling by water is not your cup of tea, Hamilton Island Aviation operates scenic flights to the reef daily so you can have a bird's eye view of this incredible natural wonder.  

Explore the Whitsundays  
Hamilton Island has a variety of options available so that you can explore everything the Whitsundays has to offer. Why not spend the day at Whitehaven Beach or take a helicopter flight over the surrounding islands. Alternatively, charter a private boat, have a traditional Australian dinner experience on the safari tour or get up close with nature on a sea kayaking tour. 

H2O Diving & Snorkelling  
H2O Sportz is a P.A.D.I 5 star dive centre. H2O operates a daily dive tour to Bait Marine Park which allows for 4hrs of snorkelling and two leisurely dives. H2O also conduct daily pool courses for absolute beginners as well as weekly P.A.D.I Openwater diver certification and Advanced Courses.

Sailing
Sailing is a must in the Whitsundays and there are a number of options available. For the more adventurous, Sunsail offers bareboat and crewed charters along with a range of courses including Introduction to Sailing, Competent Crew, Navigation and more, allowing you to charter a yacht for a couple of days or Learn To Sail yourself. Alternatively, Cruise Indigo operates regular tours to suit those who would like a peaceful day sailing and snorkelling or an afternoon sail at sunset sipping champagne. Or in an Australian first, travel up to 30knots on the trapeze of Adrenalin Rush, a sleek 36ft sailing catamaran.

Relax and rejuvenate
Hamilton Island is a perfect location to relax and unwind. Why not re-energise with a bushwalk to Coral Cove or an early morning yoga session on the beach. Alternatively, indulge in a visit to Hamilton Island's Relaxation Centre which offers a variety of holistic & massage therapies to help you tune out and wind down. Of course, you can also just lie by one of the many pools and read a book.

Adventure Sports
Take a trip over to Laguna Quays golf course or take a full day out fishing with Renegade. Have a round of tennis, mini-golf, squash or try your hand at watersports. For something a bit different there's target sports, go-karting and the all time favourite wire flyer! 

Bushwalking trails & National Park  
With over 70% of the island protected as National Park, it is easy to escape into natural Australian bushland, swim on remote beaches, see native Australian wildlife, and absorb some of the Whitsundays best views from a number of spectatcular lookouts & peaks.
